In comparison, the Geko 101 has autonomous uncorrected accuracy in the 7-8 meter range.  The GPS72 can store 500 users waypoints and 50 reversible routes. It also has 1 MB memory.  

The instructors manual includes a flexible course outline, class exercises and tests.  Students can learn to navigate to preselected locations, conduct treasure hunts for fun or education, set routes to insure safe return to starting locations, and place waypoints on local maps.  The instruction videos reinforces navigation learning.
