GeoXH/XT/XM 2008

Recon

The Trimble Recon™ handheld is designed for the realities of mobile GIS fieldwork. Compact and rugged, it exceeds military specifications for drop, vibration, immersion, and operating temperatures.

The Recon comes in two versions: System and Card. The System version can serve as a data collector, the Card version uses a Recon GPS Flash Card (middle above) for 5-10 meter accuracy with no differential correction possible.

It comes with the Microsoft® Windows® Mobile operating system, so you get all the benefits of a standard platform—you can run software compatible with your Windows CE operating system, including the GIS field software that meets the needs of your application.

Trimble Recon has two CompactFlash slots so you can easily add to your available storage space. Plus, it supports qualified memory and cards enabled with the Bluetooth wireless technology.

And, if you need to navigate to or physically map the location of assets for your GIS, the Trimble Recon handheld works seamlessly with Trimble's GPS Pathfinder® receivers and specialized TerraSync™ software for data collection and data maintenance.
